It’s always a good day when Loick Essien puts out a new track, but it’s even better when he announces a mixtape! So “Tell Your Friends” all about it! He’s one of my favourite UK artists, I’ve seen him perform twice, DJ’ed for him at one of those performances, man I even gave him a SuchATune t-shirt haha!
This track is a little preview of what’s to come from the mixtape and looking at that tracklist it’s going to be full of powerful vocals (from Ms D, Omari Bentley and Mark Asari), intelligent verses from the MC’s (Wretch 32, Chipmunk, Bashy, Tinchy Stryder) and hot production too (from Shan, TRC and 6ix).
“The reason I called the album Identity is because this is the first piece of me I’m puttin’ out. You’ll get to know my name through the album, and you’ll get to see and hear where I’m at musically. And it’s definitely a true reflection of me.” ” says Loick Essien
